Areas I Work With

The patterns that you experience are parts of you with histories, intentions, and something important to say. Using Internal Family Systems, somatic therapy, and a spiritually informed lens, we go beneath the surface of what is happening so you can understand yourself more fully and begin to change from the inside out.

  • Person with dark hair wearing a brown sweater standing on a beach facing the ocean with overcast sky.

The Parts That Keep You Together

You are capable, responsible, and always on top of it. The Overachiever, The Perfectionist, The Worrier, The Caretaker, The People-Pleaser, The Inner Critic. These parts have worked hard for a long time. They are not problems to fix. They are protectors doing the only job they have ever known. In IFS we get curious about what they are carrying, and what might be possible if they didn't have to work quite so hard.

  • A woman with long wavy brown hair, wearing a red turtleneck, smiling and showing her teeth, outdoors with blurred background.

The Parts That Help You Escape

ometimes the weight becomes too much and something in you just needs out. The Escape Artist, The Procrastinator, The Numbing Part, The Rebel, The Avoider. These parts are not failures of willpower. They are firefighters, showing up when the pain underneath feels like too much to face. IFS helps you understand what they are protecting, and offers those deeper places something they may never have had before: a witness.

  • A woman sits at a wooden desk with a laptop, a white mouse, and a smartphone, holding her head with both hands in frustration or stress.

The Parts That Carry the Old Pain

Underneath the managing and the escaping, there are younger parts still holding what was too much to bear. The Abandoned One, The Ashamed One, The Invisible One, The Unloved One, The Overwhelmed One, The Small One. These are the exiles, and they are often at the root of the patterns that keep returning. IFS doesn't push them away. It brings them home.
