Hi, I’m Ali. (she/her)
I’m a licensed therapist with 20 years of experience, deeply committed to helping women be authentic, own their power, and experience a greater lightness of being.
My approach is warm and grounded in tools. This work goes beyond just talking about your issues so you can actually change how you think, feel, and respond.
I use Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and creative exercises because I’ve found these approaches help people understand and shift what is happening inside without forcing change or bypassing what needs attention.
We get curious about the different parts of you that show up. We listen to the body so decisions feel clearer and less driven by urgency or fear. We shift the self-defeating thoughts that derail your day.
I work best with women who are on a personal growth path and want to experience deep healing.
I am trained in:
Internal Family Systems (IFS) through the IFS Institute
Somatic Therapy through The Embody Lab
Art Therapy (I have an extra Master’s degree in art therapy from Notre Dame de Namur University)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) throughThe Feeling Good Institute
I’m the author of Essential Strategies for Social Anxietyand The Self-Compassion Journal, and my work has been featured in TIME, Forbes, The Guardian, Vogue, Huffington Post, Today, U.S. News, Verywell Mind, Mindbodygreen, Well+Good, DailyOM, Parents, Real Simple, Bustle, The Knot, Fodor’s and other media.
I used IFS with Ali to understand my different parts. Now I am more self-led and less reactive than I used to be.

Ali taught me how to speak up for what I need without feeling guilty after. I know how to protect my time and energy and not feel bad about it.

I learned a few simple somatic tools that completely changed how I handle anxiety spirals. I can finally get out of them!

I am an out-of-network provider, which means I do not bill insurance directly. However, I’m happy to provide a monthly superbill, which is a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement, depending on your out-of-network benefits.
I recommend contacting your insurance provider to ask about your specific coverage for outpatient psychotherapy with a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Many plans offer partial reimbursement.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I’m here to help make the process as smooth as possible.
I believe therapy should be accessible, and I reserve a limited number of sliding scale spots for those experiencing financial hardship. These are offered based on need and availability.
