Helping you find your way through the wild.
Hi, I’m Ali.
I’m a licensed therapist and art therapist with 20 years of experience, deeply committed to helping women live authentically, own their power, reconnect with their creativity, and experience a greater lightness of being.
How I Work
My approach is warm, grounded, and paced. I use Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic therapy, mindfulness, and creative exercises because these approaches help people understand what is happening inside without forcing change or bypassing what needs attention.
We slow things down. We get curious about the different parts of you that show up. We listen to the body so decisions feel clearer and less driven by urgency or fear.
Who I Work Well With
I work best with women who are on a spiritual growth path and wanting to experience deep healing. Many of the women I work with want support that goes beyond coping skills. They want to understand themselves more fully and feel more at home inside.
A Bit More About Me
I am trained in:
Internal Family Systems (IFS) through the IFS Institute
Somatic Therapy through The Embody Lab
Art Therapy (I have an additional Master’s degree in art therapy from Notre Dame de Namur University)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) throughThe Feeling Good Institute
Nonviolent Communication (NVC) through the Nonviolent Communication Center
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) through Stress Reduction At Work
I’m the author of Essential Strategies for Social Anxiety and The Self-Compassion Journal, and my work has been featured in TIME, Forbes, The Guardian, Vogue, Huffington Post, Today, Verywell Mind, Mindbodygreen, Well+Good, DailyOM, Parents, Real Simple, Bustle, and other outlets.
I used IFS with Ali to understand what my parts were trying to do. Now I feel more self-led and thankfully a lot less reactive than I used to be.

Ali taught me how to say no without feeling guilty after. For the first time, I can protect my time and energy and not feel bad about it.
-N.F.
I learned a few simple CBT and somatic tools that completely changed how I handle anxiety spirals. I can finally get out of them!

I am an out-of-network provider, which means I do not bill insurance directly. However, I’m happy to provide a monthly superbill, which is a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement, depending on your out-of-network benefits.
I recommend contacting your insurance provider to ask about your specific coverage for outpatient psychotherapy with a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Many plans offer partial reimbursement.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I’m here to help make the process as smooth as possible.
I believe therapy should be accessible, and I reserve a limited number of sliding scale spots for those experiencing financial hardship. These are offered based on need and availability.
