Helping you find your way—through the wild.
I'm Ali McKleroy, LMFT
For 20 years, I’ve supported high-achieving, self-aware women navigating anxiety, people-pleasing, perfectionism, burnout, and the quiet ache of not fully living as themselves.
My approach blends neuroscience-backed practices like mindfulness-based CBT and somatic therapy with compassionate, growth-oriented tools like Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Nonviolent Communication (NVC). Together, these help calm the nervous system, untangle old stories, and create lasting change.
At the heart of my work is a deep belief in your wholeness—and in the power of your own inner wisdom. You don’t need fixing. You need space to remember yourself, choose yourself, and live from your truth.
As the author of two mental health books, I’ve also been featured in TIME, Forbes, The Guardian, Vogue, Today, Mindbodygreen, Verywell Mind, DailyOM, and more.
Therapy with Ali gave me tools I didn’t know I needed. I went from constantly overthinking and doubting myself to trusting my voice and making choices that feel aligned.

The Wild Path
Wild represents the parts of us that haven’t been tamed —the intuitive, emotional, creative, and authentic self we were born with but often learn to suppress.
Therapy becomes a path of unlearning and remembering, reclaiming those parts.
Nature doesn’t follow a straight line—and neither does healing.
The wild path acknowledges that transformation isn’t linear. It meanders, loops, pauses.
The wild path invites you to be who you are.

I am an out-of-network provider, which means I do not bill insurance directly. However, I’m happy to provide a monthly superbill—a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement, depending on your out-of-network benefits.
I recommend contacting your insurance provider to ask about your specific coverage for outpatient psychotherapy with a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Many plans offer partial reimbursement.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions—I’m here to help make the process as smooth as possible.
I believe therapy should be accessible, and I reserve a limited number of sliding scale spots for those experiencing financial hardship. These are offered based on need and availability.
