Helping you find your way through the wild.
Hi, I’m Ali.
I’m a licensed therapist with 20 years of experience.
I’ve gone through a lot of my own transitions over the years, and honestly, that is what shaped how I work. I know what it feels like to outgrow an old chapter before the new one fully arrives. I know the feeling of being both excited and terrified at the same time. And I know what it’s like to crave a deeper sense of home inside yourself, even when things look fine on the outside.
How I work
My style is warm and grounded. I use IFS, somatic therapy, mindfulness, and nervous system work because these are the approaches that actually changed my life. They help you understand what is happening inside you without getting stuck in old stories or trying to force yourself into a version of life that does not fit anymore.
I like slowing things down.
I like getting curious about the different parts of you.
I like helping you feel your way back into your body so decisions start to feel less confusing.
I love watching someone suddenly understand why a pattern has been running their life for years.
Who I tend to work well with
I work best with women who are on a spiritual or personal growth path. Women who feel things deeply. Women who are moving through transitions and want support that goes beyond surface coping skills. Women who want to understand themselves better and feel more at home inside their own lives
A bit more about me
I’ve been practicing therapy for two decades now. I’m trained in Somatic Therapy, IFS, Mindfulness-Based CBT, and communication practices that help people speak honestly without abandoning themselves. I’ve written two books, Essential Strategies for Social Anxiety and The Self-Compassion Journal, and I’m often been featured as a mental health expert in TIME, Forbes, The Guardian, Vogue, Today, Mindbodygreen, well+good, DailyOm, and other places.
Why I do this
I believe everyone has a deeper Self inside them that is steady and wise.
I believe transitions can be powerful turning points.
If any of this resonates, I’m here.
Therapy with Ali gave me tools I didn’t know I needed. I went from constantly overthinking to trusting my voice and making choices that feel aligned.

Working with Ali has taught me how to say no without feeling guilty afterward. For the first time, I can protect my time and energy without feeling like I’m letting anyone down. It’s truly changed everything.
—Wild PathClient
I learned a few simple CBT and Somatic tools that completely changed how I handle anxiety spirals.
Now, when my mind starts racing, I can catch the thoughts, ground myself, and come back to calm instead of getting lost in the panic loop.

The Wild Path
Wild represents the parts of us that haven’t been tamed.
It’s the intuitive, emotional, creative, and authentic self we were born with but often learn to suppress.
Therapy becomes a path of unlearning and remembering, reclaiming those beautiful parts.
The wild path acknowledges that transformation isn’t linear. It meanders and loops.

I am an out-of-network provider, which means I do not bill insurance directly. However, I’m happy to provide a monthly superbill, which is a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement, depending on your out-of-network benefits.
I recommend contacting your insurance provider to ask about your specific coverage for outpatient psychotherapy with a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Many plans offer partial reimbursement.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I’m here to help make the process as smooth as possible.
I believe therapy should be accessible, and I reserve a limited number of sliding scale spots for those experiencing financial hardship. These are offered based on need and availability.
