Welcome. I’m glad you found your way here.

If you’re reading this, you might be in a season of change. Maybe something in your life is shifting. Maybe you’re letting go of an old identity, stepping into a new chapter, or standing at a crossroads that feels both exciting and unsettling.

Transitions have a way of waking up parts of us we haven’t heard from in a long time.

Therapy can help you navigate this space with clarity and support.

I work with women who want to break old patterns and live in alignment with what feels most alive. My approach blends Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic therapy, and nervous system work, giving you a grounded and compassionate space to explore who you’ve been, who you’re becoming, and what your inner wisdom is guiding you toward.

In our work together, you’ll learn how to:

  • Tune into your inner guidance

  • Understand and support your wounded and protective parts

  • Calm your nervous system

  • Step into your next chapter with a lightness of being

Transitions are powerful openings. They are portals that invite you to realign with the life you actually want to live. It’s a lot easier to do with someone’s consistent support.

Meet Ali

Hi, I’m Ali. I’m a licensed therapist with 20 years of experience and the author of two books. I specialize in working with women in transition who want to break old patterns, reconnect with their inner wisdom, and move toward a life that feels more aligned and alive.

My work is rooted in Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, somatic therapy, and nervous system regulation, with the added depth of mindfulness and self-compassion. Together, we explore your inner world and the different parts of you that become activated during times of change.

This process helps you understand what is driving anxiety, self-doubt, or stuck patterns, and supports reconnection with your deeper Self.

IFS-informed and somatic therapy allows us to work gently and effectively, not by forcing change, but by creating safety, clarity, and internal cooperation. The goal is to help you feel more grounded in your body, more regulated in your nervous system, and more at home in yourself as you step into your next chapter.

Why Work With Me

For two decades, I’ve worked with women navigating significant life transitions, including career changes, identity shifts, relationship changes, and personal or spiritual growth. These seasons often bring both expansion and uncertainty, especially when old coping patterns or protective strategies resurface.

I understand what it’s like to feel caught between who you’ve been and who you’re becoming.

This in-between space can feel confusing, emotional, and deeply meaningful all at once.

My role is to provide steady, trauma-informed support while helping you build awareness, regulation, and self-directed clarity.

My work has been featured in TIME, The Guardian, Forbes, Today, Verywell Mind, Bustle, DailyOM, Well+Good, Success, Today, The Knot, Parents, Fodor’s, Real Simple, and more.

What matters most to me, though, is the change I witness in my clients. Women who once felt overwhelmed or disconnected begin to experience greater calm, confidence, and deeper alignment within themselves.

If you are seeking IFS-informed and somatic therapy to support you through a meaningful transition, I would be honored to walk alongside you.

Who I Work With

I work with women seeking IFS-informed and somatic therapy who are in a season of transition and feeling called to make meaningful inner shifts. Many of my clients are on a spiritual or personal growth path and want deeper support as they move toward a more authentic, self-directed way of living.

The women I work with are often thoughtful, capable, and self-aware yet notice that old patterns and protective parts resurface during times of change. Anxiety, self-doubt, people-pleasing, or emotional overwhelm may increase just as they’re trying to move forward.

You might be:

  • navigating a shift in identity, work, relationships, or purpose

  • noticing familiar patterns or inner conflicts re-emerging as you grow

  • feeling disconnected from your inner guidance

  • experiencing stress or anxiety

  • wanting to feel more grounded in your system

  • ready to understand your internal system more deeply

Through Internal Family Systems (IFS)–informed therapy and somatic approaches, we gently explore the different parts of you that are seeking protection, clarity, or healing.

Together, we focus on increasing self-awareness, nervous system regulation, and internal cooperation so you can move forward with greater ease and self-direction.

If you’re longing for a deeper connection with yourself and a more embodied, aligned way of moving through the world, I’m really glad you’re here.

What Clients Say

“Working with Ali has been pretty life-changing. I used to feel trapped in patterns of people-pleasing but through our work together, I’ve stepped out of that cage, and there’s no going back! I feel unapologetically myself now. I know my needs, I can speak up for them, and I no longer abandon myself to keep the peace. ”

— A.W.

When I first started working with Ali, I felt pretty stuck and honestly a bit scattered. Everything felt so hard. A lot of our work was about slowing things down and getting curious about different parts of me. We used IFS to understand why certain patterns kept showing up, especially around anxiety and self-doubt. I’m more able to listen to myself instead of panicking or shutting down, and that’s made this transition feel manageable in a way it really didn’t before.

- S.P.

“Ali helped me untangle years of overgiving and imbalanced relationships.”

—T.R.

I came to Ali during a career transition that completely threw me off balance. I thought I was just stressed but really I was questioning a lot of things about my life.

Working with Ali felt like having someone sit with me in the mess. She helped me notice the parts of me that were terrified of making a wrong move and the parts that actually wanted something different. Over time, I started making decisions that felt more honest and I definitely feel a lot more like myself.”
