The places you feel stuck hold the path forward.
For people on a spiritual path who are ready to heal the burdens they've been carrying.

You are not new to this. You have been choosing personal growth for a long time.
And yet, here you are again. The achiever keeps raising the bar an inch higher every time you almost reach it. The pleaser says yes before the question has even finished landing. The inner critic is already building its case against you, narrating everything you got wrong in real time. The giver keeps pouring from a cup that emptied a while ago, and the resentment pools at the bottom of it. Maybe there's a part of you that goes numb when it's all too much, or one that picks a fight just to let off steam, or one that disappears into silence for days at a time. Every single one of them is doing its best to keep you safe. That's the whole tragic, tender truth of it.
It's the same pattern, just wearing a different outfit today.
You can name it. You can trace it all the way back to where it started. You can explain it beautifully to a friend over wine. And it still happens again anyway.
Because understanding why is not the same thing as being free of it. Insight lives in the head. IFS lives somewhere truer than that.
When your parts finally feel met, not managed, not fixed, just met, something in you exhales. The critic loosens its grip because it's no longer the only one standing guard. The pleaser remembers it's allowed to take up space. The achiever sets the bar down for a minute and just rests. The part of you that has always known the way, the one your spiritual practice keeps gesturing toward, gets to come forward and lead. Not because you fixed yourself, but because you finally turned toward yourself with enough love to listen.
If you're ready for that, this is the work.
“I came in thinking I just needed to manage my anxiety better. What I didn’t expect was to actually meet the part of me that had been running the show for thirty years.”
Where inner work meets
outer work.
Internal Family Systems
You have parts that protect, parts that have been pushed away, and a Self underneath it all that is already calm, curious, and whole. Together we get curious about what each part is carrying, unburden what it has held for so long, and return you Self energy.
The Approach
Somatic Therapy
Your body has been holding this long before your mind found words for it. As a certified somatic therapist, I help you listen to what lives in your chest, your throat, your gut. That is where the real patterns are.
Creative Expression
Some parts of you don’t have words. They speak in color, image, and symbol. As a trained art therapist, I bring creativity into our work as a doorway into the inner world. You do not need to be an artist- just a willingness to see what wants to come through.
Meet Ali
I am a licensed therapist, somatic practitioner, and art therapist with over 20 years of experience and the author of two books.
I’m trained in IFS through the IFS Institute, somatic therapy, and hold an additional master's in art therapy. I bring 30 years of yoga practice and spiritual teaching to the work.
I work with people who are self-aware, motivated, and ready to stop circling the same patterns. My approach is warm, direct and grounded. I will name what I see, and together we will go to the root of what is actually happening.
